"Fungi"

This morning, I prepared myself going to Baguio City to visit a relative who is currently in ICU. Unfortunately, hindi kami natuloy due to non-stop raining. So I headed myself going to CLSU instead.

Dinonate namin ang mga seedlings at itinanim during our ROTC. I miss those days na naglalakad sa campus going to our next class.

Then I stopped to this Mushroom Center at CAS Annex.

"I Can't Make You Love Me"

I Can't Make You Love Me

Turn down the lights
Turn down the bed
Turn down these voices
Inside my head

Lay down with me
Tell me no lies
Just hold me close,
Don't patronize

Don't patronize me

Cause I can't make you love me
If you don't
You can't make your heart feel
Something it won't
Here in the dark
In these final hours
I will lay down my heart
And I'll feel the power
But you won't
No, you won't
Cause I can't make you love me
If you don't

I'll close my eyes
Then I won't see
The love you don't feel
When you're holding me

Morning will come
And I'll do what's right
Just give me till then
To give up this fight
And I will give up this fight

Cause I can't make you love me
If you don't
You can't make your heart feel
Something it won't
Here in the darkin these final hours
I will lay down my heart
And I'll feel the power
But you won't
No, you won't
Cause I can't make you love me
If you don't

"The 6th Gen"

September 5, 2007 - Apple announced their new generations of iPods! The sixth gen of iPod (the iPod Classic) along with the new line iPod Touch, the third generation iPod Nano (Nano Fat), and the iPod Shuffle with new colors.

I want the 160 Gig iPod Classic. Difinitely will buy it, but on my birthday. Kelangan ko pang hintayin ang 2008. Grrrr! My iPod Video (5.5 Gen) is only 8 months old at under warranty pa. And my iPod Photo is in my cabinet kasama ng Mini. What I like most of this new iPod is the user interface, it has the cover flow feature plus the 160 gig capacity! And for that, I need to upgrade the hard drive of my pc.

iPod Touch rocks! Pero mala-buhangin lang ata ung mga bato. The only downside, it has only 8 and 16 gig of capacity. Touch screen, cover flow feature, 3.5 inch display, and wi-fi capable for web browsing and You Tube viewing, a must buy to those who have a shorter playlist. I'd rather buy the iPhone if they don't upgrade the memory capacity.

He he!) with video capable, has bigger screen, new user interface like the classic and still a flash based memory. So Nano fans, unano pa din ang capacity nya. He he!

One thing I observed in all new iPods? That there is no white iPod! Did they discontinued producing the white iPods?

"Biscuit"

Filipinos. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate flavored biscuit. Hmmm. Should I be proud of it or feel insulted? Ano kaya lasa nito?

This brand of biscuit is being sold to Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. During the Spanish Period, Spaniards who was born in the Philippines are called "Filipinos". If the term "Filipinos" is used as a brand to sell the biscuit, siguro ok lang sa akin. But if they use it to describe "Filipinos" as a biscuit, marami siguro sa atin ang mag-re-react at isa na ako dun.

"Quiz Bee"

13th Inter-Regional Quiz Bee or IRQB was held this morning at CLSU Auditorium organized by IMPACT. 13 schools from 3 provinces (Pampanga, Bulacan & Nueva Ecija) participated the quiz bee. 7 out of 13 schools qualified for the final round.

University of Science High School-CLSU won the first place, while St. Mary's from Bulacan got the second place. For the third place... di ko na matandaan kung sino eh, taga-flash ng question at answer sa projector ang naging papel ko, kaya dun ako naka-focus. Baka kasi ung sagot ang ma-i-flash ko.

Prof. Redel Gutierrez as the Quiz Master, ung naka-upo timer-boy

Brod Mac-mac (IMPACT President), Brod Ronnel & Brod Ronald (IRQB Coordinators)

Winners of 13th Inter-Regional Quiz Bee

Quiz Master: From 1942 to 1945, the Filipinos experienced oppressions and maltreatment from the hands of Japanese. What do you call to the Japanese soldiers during that time?

Answer: Kempeitai

One school answered "Hentai".
