Last weekend, May 23-24, me and my friend Syano attended the "In Your Eyes - Digital Photography Workshop" at Microtel Cabanatuan. Mr. Mike Lawan (of MikeLens), Dr. Haines Monjardin and Engr. Ameer Lawan are the speakers for the said workshop.
The 2-day overnight stay for two at the hotel for only 2000php is really a bargain. Three meals are included plus the superb prizes from the sponsors - trip to Boracay for two (where they will stay at Microtel Boracay) for the first place and the other prize is a Samsung digital camera - all from Microtel and Sea Air. Plus pizzas and beer during the acoustic night beside the swimming pool courtesy of Pizza Hut. Saan ka pa?!
Aside from learning the right combination of shutter speed-aperture-ISO and the rule of thirds, meeting with other photo enthusiast is another thing. And since the is no existing camera club in Nueva Ecija, we all agreed to put one... soon!
So all Novo Ecijano's who have the passion in photography, watch out for this.
